2015: Edo group drums support for Jonathan

Ahead of the 2015 presidential election, a group, Goodluck for Transformation, has verbally expressed that President Goodluck Jonathan had demonstrated endurance and an infrequent leadership capacity which would ensure him and the Peoples Democratic Party victory in the election.

The group, made this kenned while addressing journalists in Benin, Edo State capital, on its sundry activities to draw up support for President Jonathan.

The National President of the group, Chief Evelyn Igbafe-Omokhodion, who  explicated that the group had the mandate to ascertain victory for Jonathan, integrated that the transformation recorded in some key sectors of the economy showed that Jonathan remained the candidate to beat, in spite of the challenges confronting the nation.

Igbafe-Omokhodion, who verbalized that the group’s membership was spread across in the 36 states and local regime areas of the country to mobilize Nigerians and ascertain victory for the President in 2015, integrated that rival candidates and parties should have a re-cerebrate on their positions.

She further urged Nigerians to give President Goodluck Jonathan another opportunity to consolidate on his achievements in key sectors of the nation’s economy.

She verbalized, “God has revealed that there is no rival to Jonathan’s second-term bid and that is why we are giving him all our fortification.

“For any other party to cerebrate that they cannot dislodge Jonathan, they must have a rethink.

” Am urging Nigerians to come and support our son and our own South/South brother.”

On the current security challenges, while calling for the construal and cooperation of all Nigerians, the national president verbalized that the federal regime was doing everything within its capacity to ascertain the safe relinquishment of the over 200 Chibok girls.

“The regime is endeavoring not to resort to full war in the relinquishment of the girls to eschew casualty.

“I just want to appeal to Nigerians to join in the fight against terrorism, which is a major challenge to countries of the world.
