Canada To Donate N408 Million For Protective Equipment
The country's Health Minister, Rona Ambrose, uncovered this on Monday, September 15, 2014, CBC News reports.
Canada beforehand offered to give 1000 measurements of its exploratory Ebola antibody to help in the treatment of Ebola in West Africa after the World Health Organization (WHO) considered such measures moral.
The clergyman said that the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) would be given to WHO as a component of deliberations to help battle the ailment.
Ambrose included:
"We will keep on exploing routes for Canada to make a compelling commitment to the worldwide reaction,"
This comes as the US affirmed that it would send 3000 troops to Liberia, and also therapeutic supplies, to contain and help control the spread of Ebola.
