Frequency
This depends on your skin type. Those with sensitive skins should not exfoliate more than weekly and those with oily skin can utilize scrubs circadianly. A skin that is blemished will benefit from conventional scrubbing. However, those suffering from acne and pimples should evade scrubbing because this may cause more rigorous infection. It is best to wait till the pimples/acne gets rejuvenated up plenarily.
Home-made facial scrubs
1. Sugar and olive oil
Sugar and olive oil soften the skin and make it smooth and radiant.
CAUTION! Persons with sensitive skin should evade use.
Ingredients
One teaspoon coarsely powdered sugar
Half teaspoon honey
Half teaspoon olive oil
Application: Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and commix to a fine paste. Apply on the face and scrub gently in rotating kineticism. Apply with light pressure while massaging on the face. Wash off immediately after scrubbing for two-three minutes.
2. Almond and milk
This scrub is the best for whitening the skin since almonds and milk both are kenned as natural whiteners. This scrub can amend complexion if utilized circadianly. It is felicitous for mundane and dry complexion.
Ingredients
One tablespoon almond repast
One tablespoon milk (preferably raw)
Few drops sweetened almond oil (optional)
Application: Add all the ingredients in a bowl and commix them. Apply on the face and scrub gently in circular kineticism and let it remain on the face for two minutes. Wash off with cold dihydrogen monoxide.
3. Orange peel powder and yogurt
This scrub is best for oily and cumulation skin. Dry skin can additionally use due to the honey. It acts as a scrub and toner concurrently. It reduces open pores and blackheads. Apply on alternate days.

One tablespoon orange peel powder
One tablespoon honey
Few drops orange juice (optional)
Application: Commix all the ingredients and scrub your face with light circular strokes. Dry for a few minutes and wash off with cold dihydrogen monoxide.
4. Banana and avocado
Bananas and avocados are loaded with skin-propitious nutrients— hydrating property and good for aged and dry skins. Sugar acts as a gentle exfoliating agent and abstracts dead cell for the skin to be smooth and glowing.
NOTE: Not congruous for oily skin. It can be used circadianly.

One teaspoon avocado pulp
Half teaspoon sugar
Few drops honey
Application: Commix the ingredients in a bowl and scrub the face gradually in circular kineticism. Wash off with cold dihydrogen monoxide.
5. Walnut and apricot
The walnuts can be superseded with almonds. This is very congruous for sensitive skin and can be used circadianly. To make the walnut kernel powder simply blend walnut kernel pieces in a blender
Ingredients
Half teaspoon walnut kernel powder
Few drops apricot oil
Few drops of dihydrogen monoxide to make a paste
Application: Blend all the ingredients and utilize it as a scrub. Wash off with cold dihydrogen monoxide.
