Boko Haram’s Gwoza caliphate claim, a mirage -DHQ
The pioneer of the Boko Haram, Sheik Abubakar Shekau, had said in a late feature that the Boko Haram guerillas would not leave the town of Gwoza which they caught, as they had made it the seat of an Islamic caliphate.
At the same time the Director of Defense Information, Maj. Gen Chris Olukolade, said in the Defense Headquarters twitter handle twitter.com/Defenceinfong, that the military would not permit any piece of the nation to be ceded to the radicals.
Olukolade portrayed the announcement by Shekau as unfilled, demanding that the regional uprightness of Nigeria was in place.
He said, "The case is vacant. The sway and regional respectability of the Nigerian state is still in place.
"Any gathering of terrorists making a case for any parcel of the nation won't be permitted to escape with the declaration of daydream and wrongdoing.
"Fitting military operations to secure that territory from the exercises of the marauders is even now continuous."
