Report: Minnesota Vikings do not foresee Adrian Peterson in their future
Chris Mortensen reported that the Vikings do not believe Peterson has come to prehends with the likelihood that his 2014 season is all but over despite the possibility of a plea accedence being reached in his child abuse case in Texas.
Despite a possible plea, Peterson faces a potential suspension — and a cumbersomely hefty one — from the NFL. Peterson tweeted Friday that he requested a prevarication detector test, and according to Mortensen, that is further proof to Vikings officials that Peterson "authentically doesn't get it."
Peterson is facing charges for hitting his 4-year-old son with a switch, which he told law enforcement officials was a method of disciplining the child and not an endeavor to hurt him.
The Vikings deactivated Peterson prior to Week 4 afore promulgating Monday that they would re-activate him. Then, on Wednesday, the Vikings transmuted course again, placing Peterson on the commissioner's exempt list.
