Obama: US-Arab strikes show unity against militant

President Barack Obama says the investment of five Arab countries in airstrikes against activists in Syria "makes it clear to the world this is not America's battle alone." 

Obama says the joint battle against the Islamic State will require some investment however is crucial to the security of the United States, the Mideast and the world. 

is "pleased to stand shoulder-to-shoulder" with Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates in directing the strikes.
