'We Are Dying Like Fowl', Nigerian Soldiers Say
One of the officers identifies with BBC saying that no less than 40 of his associates would disregard requests to go against the faction.
He further said that the officers would just go into fight on the off chance that they were given better supplies.
As indicated by the unidentified officer:
"Officers are biting the dust like fowl," the trooper, who said he and his partners were just outside Maiduguri, told the BBC Hausa administration.
"The Nigerian armed force is not prepared to battle Boko Haram," he said, clarifying that officers were not being given enough weapons and ammo to assume.
"Boko Haram are inside the hedge, all over the place," he said "They [senior commanders] are relinquishing fighters,"
The Nigerian government has been seriously scrutinized for what numerous see as laxity towards the danger postured by Boko Haram.
