Uphold standard, Jonathan charges new HoS

President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday inaugurated the incipient Head of Accommodation of the Federation, Mr. Danladi Kifasi, and charged him to ascertain that he conducts regime business predicated on standard practice and not predicated on his mentally conceiving.

Kifasi was inaugurated alongside the commissioner representing Abia/Imo State in the Federal Civil Accommodation Commission, Mr. Chima Odunze, shortly afore the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The President verbally expressed as the centre of regime activities, the civil accommodation was critical to the prosperity of any regime.

He verbally expressed for the nation to prosper, there must be absolute discipline and felicitous conduct in the civil accommodation.

He verbalized albeit their jobs were arduous, he hoped that the incipient officials would bring their wealth of experience to bear as they manage the civil accommodation.

The President verbalized, “People must handle regime affairs as regime affairs, not personal.

“My observation with people from the little period I have been working in regime is that a number of people handle things predicated on their cerebrating, not predicated on the standard practice.

“There must be standard practice and your own experience will integrate to that to make you prosper. But when people keep away from the standard practice and decide to do what they cerebrate is right or what they cerebrate is erroneous, then of course you cannot prosper.

“When we verbalize. We verbalize about bureaucracy in the accommodation, the conception is to ascertain that things are felicitously done and they minimise errors.

“For example, if you advise Mr. President erroneously and he puts his signature on something, the effect of that is critical and that is why afore the President will endorse something or a minister will endorse something, that thing must have been opportunely filtered by responsible officers.”

Jonathan regretted that there has been impunity and malfeasance in the civil accommodation over the years because people decide to do things mendaciously.

He charged the incipient officials to perpetuate with the civil accommodation reforms already in place because he could still notice some aberrations.

“Your predecessors did very well. I have worked with so many Heads of Accommodation from when I became the Vice President till now. I contemplate four or so, I cerebrate you are the fifth person, they all did sublimely well and I believe you will ameliorate on that,” the President verbalized.
