Robin Williams: Obama leads tributes to actor, dead at 63

President Barack Obama has headed tributes to US performing artist and humorist Robin Williams, who has been discovered dead, matured 63, in an evident suicide. 

Marin County Police in California said Williams was maintained dead at his home after authorities reacted to a crisis call around twelve nearby time. 

Williams was popular for movies, for example, Good Morning Vietnam and won an Oscar for his part in Good Will Hunting. 

His marketing expert said he had been "doing combating extreme gloom". 

President Obama was one of numerous offering sympathies to the performing artist's family saying: "Williams landed in our lives as an outsider - yet he wound up touching each component of the human soul.

In the past Williams had talked, and even clowned, about his battles with liquor and medications.

The nearby Sheriff's office said Williams was discovered oblivious and not breathing at his home close Tiburon, north of San Francisco.

In an announcement, Williams' wife, Susan Schneider, said she was "completely devastated". 

"At the beginning of today, I lost my spouse and my closest companion, while the world lost one of its most adored specialists and excellent people. I am completely grief stricken," she said. 

"For Robin's family, we are request security amid our time of significant despondency. As he is recalled that, it is our trust the center won't be on Robin's passing, yet on the incalculable minutes of satisfaction and delight he provided for millions."
