2015 elections is battle of the PDP, APC and alliance of parties – Dr Ogbonnaya

In pursuit of a credible alternative to the rul­ing Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, some individuals and groups comprising about 14 political parties, civil society organization, stu­dent, market women and other sundry organi­zations have come to compose a rainbow coalition to provide a third platform for the electorate in the 2015 general elections. Discussions for the emergence of the coalition commenced early this year, and crystallized into shape after the August 12 general conference of all the stake holders in Abuja. According to the national coordinator of the group Dr Ogbonnaya Damian, the move is geared towards stabilizing the polity and bal­ancing the equation of cull for the people.
